If your super cool and laid back coworker, offered you a room in her perfect locale, hardwood floor, balcony having condo. Would you say yes?

Susan says:
Short answer: yes, do it.
Longer, more Mom like answer: can you see yourself living with this person? Can you do a trial run, say a few months? Would it cause problems at work if the living arrangement didn’t work out? Do you WANT a roommate, or would you rather live on your own?
Okay then! All done being a Mom. I say move.
Dagny says:
In a heartbeat.
Jennie says:
Totally.
sandy says:
hell yes! Oh and I’m mad at you!!!!!
Bone says:
I don’t have a super-cool, laid-back co-worker.
But if I did, and if she was cute, then yes
Erinn says:
id say yes, but then id think free room at home…..
Kate says:
Ooh, I don’t know about living with a coworker, but then, I am dating one. More fun in those boring meetings!
I mean, you make bank, right? Why not invest in your own place?
P.S. As a lurker I’ve been wondering . . . where do you come up with the quotes? They’re always so apt and non-cliched.
Angela says:
Oh my word, yes!! I mean, unless there’s some hidden downside we don’t know about…
hannita says:
Maybe…
I’ve got more of the mom questions in my head too though.
Maria says:
I would if all the details were laid out regarding rent, common space, trial period, etc.
Jamie says:
I agree with Maria about getting all the details laid out prior to moving in…but otherwise it sounds like a dream situation! Keep us updated.
Tina says:
Sounds super!
whoorl says:
I’d say YES, but then become super-paranoid that said cool roommate was stealing my undies.
C says:
Based on my prior experience in living with friends and friend-type people - I would be tempted but leery.
