I once worked at a place, in which I poured beer all day, but was not allowed to take tips. WTF? So on the rare occasion during which a customer gave me a tip, I quickly slipped it into my pocket. And I learned a lot about food service. Like if there's some sort of beverage being served out a glass barrel, under no circumstances should one partake of it. Seriously.
